UCC Vienna Cafe

Here's what we ate at UCC Vienna Cafe, Trinoma.

Chicken and Mushroom Risotto - P369

This dish is fulfilling, but....

Mushroom Cheese Hamburg Risotto - P379

I still prefer the sceond risotto than the first one because of its rich-er flavor.

Here's the menu of UCC Vienna Cafe.

Burgoo

What I love most about Burgoo is that it serves large, delicious dishes at a very considerate price.

Onion Rings - P195

Considering its price, the dish is actually worth the try. It's delicious; but I think there's too many that we were not able to finish everything (nakaka-umay).

 Spaghetti Bolognese - P275

New York Strip Steak - P625

Absolutely delicious.

Italianni's

As I said in my previous post, we bought a (loyalty/customer) card from Bistro Group of Restaurants!

Consequently, I have two consecutive posts about their restaurants.

Stuffed Mushrooms - P450 (regular)

The mushrooms are perfect with the cheese/white sauce.

Grilled Pork Chop(s) - P425 (one chop)

Grilled Chicken Fettuccine - P495 (regular)

TGIF

My family enjoyed a staycation at Crowne Plaza (located beside Robinson's Galleria).

Usually, my family eats at Mr. Choi whenever we are at Robinson's Galleria. We love their baked rice (seafood/white sauce baked rice, whatever the name is)... :)

Just to be out of the usual thing, we ate at TGI Friday's.

French Onion Soup - P195

I don't like French Onion Soup, but because of pressure (more like of a force)... I tried one sip of this soup. Viola, I loved it (especially the mozzarella cheese)! I don't understand why I never tried to taste this soup before... :|

My mind says that this soup should taste like onions; but it's actually sweet, and its taste gets better as you sip more.

Mushroom Chicken and Mushroom - P565

New York Strip Steak - P1575 (8oz)

Singapore

Okay, since these are Singapore dishes, forgive me for forgetting their names... :)

Chicken Wings

Shrimp Omelette

I forgot the name, but it's SPICY!!

Forgot the name.

I don't want to offend anybody, but I really did not like this dish. It doesn't small that good (remember the times how bad you want to eat a dish just because of its smell? This dish is not one of them!).

Fried Rice

I ate this fried rice just outside Universal Studios for dinner. I was fully satisfied with this SGD 10 dish.

Chicken Hainanese

Don't leave Singapore without trying their famous Chicken Hainanese.

Teriyaki Boy

I can still remember how my sister and I used to fight over tempura (shrimp dish) and ika teriyaki (squid dish). When we were still kids, my parents used to bring us at Japanese restaurants. But as we grow up, we started to appreciate more of the Chinese cuisine (well, being Chinese, it's not surprising at all).

Anyway, I really miss Japanese dishes, especially Teriyaki Boy's  chicken terriyaki (must-try)! So.... we decided to go to Teriyaki Boy... :)

I forgot the name of this dish (I think there's a "steak" in its name)

Teriyaki Boy Chicken Ju - P195

Nothing can really beat Teriyaki Boy Chicken, or at least I'm not aware of any. Don't leave Teriyaki Boy without trying this dish!

Kani Salad - P125

Kani Salad was surprisingly big and delicious.

Shake Sashimi - P190

Crazy California Roll - P175

Suki Beef Teppan Don (not sure about the name) - P175

As you can see in the picture, this dish is too dry.

Components of Teriyaki Bento: Kani Salad, Sesame Mayashi, and Coffee Jelly (I don't have a good picture of the teriyaki boy chicken itself and miso soup)

Saisaki

Last March, we ate at Saisaki to have a triple celebration--my brother's and sister's graduations and our dad's birthday.

For those who don't know, Saisaki is the Japanese buffet restaurant of Dads Ultimate Buffet. Basically, Dads Ultimate Buffet owns three buffet restaurants: Kamayan--Filipino buffet; Saiksaki--Japanese buffet; and Dads--the ULTIMATE buffet since it includes different cuisines (steaks are here!).

*FYI, if you eat at Dads...you also get to enjoy the food of Kamayan and Saisaki.

Appetizer(s): Crabstick & Tempura; Sushi

First Plate: Pasta

This dish doesn't have a name because you will be the one choosing what to put in this dish--mushroom, bacon, cheese, onion, etc.

Second Plate: Beef Cubes

You can't spot this dish in their buffet set-up; you have to ask for this dish. You have to try this; it's just like a steak!

Dessert(s): Mango Cake, Cupcake, (not sure of the name), Brownie, Crepe, Watermelon

I recommend the mango crepe, ice cream, watermelon, and leche flan.

Notes:
1. To know more about their restaurants, go here.
2. You have to pay for your drinks; we just asked for their water. *you should not drink too much if you want to maximize your payment!
3. Ask if they have an on-going promo. When we went there, they give all graduates a free drink of your choice and stuffed toy.
