Uncle Cheffy

Last Easter Sunday, we went to Centris Walk (just beside Quezon Avenue MRT Station). The place is much like a park with various restaurants. But of course, it is the LazerMaxx (laser tag) which makes it more attractive and famous.

Our original plan was to eat at Pancake House; unfortunately, it was still close. So, we decided to try Uncle Cheffy.

Appetizers: Pumpkin Soup; Uncle Cheffy Salad-Php 230

These appetizers are great, but they served it last (and I hate it). I think the management should practice serving appetizers first before the main course. We originally ordered these appetizers so we can eat something while waiting for the main course.

Pizza: Cheese, Cheese, and Cheese-Php 475

How to eat their pizza:
1. Top it with the green salad, tomatoes and onions, and herbs.
2. Roll it.

Steak: Uncle Cheffy Steak- Php 1,950

Notes:
1. We were not able to taste their other pizzas; I think Uncle Cheffy Favorites is worth a try.
2. It would be better to go there at night because it's hot during the morning and afternoon.
3. If you are a group, try LazerMaxx. It costs around Php250 per person for 15 minutes. Yes, it sounds expensive. But, you won't feel that once you have tried it. Also, when you are inside, it feels like you have been playing for 30 minutes (no exaggeration!).

Cafe Monaco

Cafe Monaco is a simple and small restaurant located at Banawe, Quezon City; and it is a MUST-VISIT.

Appetizers: Kimchi + Raddish
(complimentary)

Beef something

Sausage and Onion Crepe

Try their Mango crepe; it's delicious and is really full of mango cubes with cream.

Most of their crepes cost less than P100.

Bibimbap

One of my all-time favorite dishes at Cafe Monaco. Costing around P130+, the dish is already good for two persons.

Their Tapsilog is also delicious. I'm really not sure what makes their Tapsilog very special (maybe their butter-y rice); but I really love it. It costs around P120.

You can also try their pita pockets, which is around P75 for two pockets already.

If you are a family or a big group, try their sizzling bangus (boneless bangus). It's large and delicious, especially with mayonnaise and calamansi. It's only P220+.

Tasty Dumplings

Have you heard of Tasty Dumplings? No, it's not just an expression that people say when they eat a delicious dumpling; Tasty Dumplings is a restaurant at Banawe, Quezon City (though I think, they have other branches).

Its concept is simple, like a canteen. Their dishes are very affordable, yet tasty obviously.

Dumplings-Php 75

Pork Chop Rice-Php 105

This is the part that excites me the most. For only P105, you get to enjoy this big dish!!! Hard to believe, right? But it's true.

*Don't put too much sauce; you might want to enjoy the dish in its original state taste (which I recommend).
